GOLF ACADEMY
ACADEMY DETAILS
A year round program designed for boys and girls ages 5-10 years old. Open to beginner golfers with no prior knowledge of the game, or intermediate golfers who want to improve their game.
Classes are organized into 4 skill levels. All students start at level (1) and advance to the next level only by passing a challenge test to assess their mastery of that particular level.
Intermediate students may bypass lower levels by passing the level's skill challenge.
*Classes are limited to 6 students per instructor.
ENROLLMENT
Each month the student registers for four (4) 60 minute class sessions. Cost is $200 per month and requires an annual $100.00 equipment fee for training aids, and gear.
EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
Students must wear appropriate athletic clothing, and closed toed shoes to train in. golf clubs should be clean, and in order. New students without clubs may borrow from the academy based on availability.
LEVEL UP GOLF SYSTEM
LEVEL (1) - INTRODUCTION TO GOLF- GRIP, STANCE, POSTURE, ALIGNMENT PUTTING, and CHIPPING. (Score 36 or better from 25 yards.)
LEVEL (2) - TECHINQUE TO SHORT GAME –PUTTING, CHIPPING, PITCHING. (Score 36 or better from 50 yards.)
LEVEL (3) - INSTRODUCTION TO FULLSWING. BACK SWING, DOWNSWING, AND FOLLOW THROUGH TECHNIQUE. (Score 36 or better from 75 yards)
LEVEL (4) - INTRODUCTION TO PLAYING GOLF. LEARNING HOW TO PLAY GOLF. ETIQUETTE, WHEN TO PLAY, WHAT CLUB TO HIT, GENERAL RULES, PLAYING RESPONSIBILITIES, SCORING, PACE OF PLAY, DRIVING OFF TEE, FAIRWAY SHOTS. (Score 36 or better from junior tees)
